For the Holidays, the Notre-Dame neighborhood comes to life with magical Christmas illuminations and decorations. During this 2-hour Notre-Dame and Christmas market tour, you will cover the history and secrets of the cathedral’s construction, witness some eye-catching lightings, and browse a traditional Christmas market while savoring French Christmas treats.

Meet up with your guide in front of Notre-Dame cathedral, not too far from the gigantic Christmas tree of Paris. Facing the cathedral, you will observe the exceptional façade decorated with sculptures (relating the stories of the Bible). Your guide will tell you more about them. Inside the cathedral, you can’t miss the rose (stained-glass) windows. Further inside this magnificent architecture, gather around to admire the Nativity scene. Indeed, from December to January, Jesus’ story from the Holy Night to the visit of the Three Wise Men will be displayed inside the Cathedral.

It is then time to discover a traditional French Christmas market. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in French Christmas traditions through local crafts stalls. You will also taste two yummy specialties. To end your Christmas tour, your guide will take you to a typical French coffee shop to warm up around a hot chocolate, flavored with spices, or maybe a mulled cinnamon wine, a must-taste in the Christmas season.
