Get off Alice Springs early to get to know the Australian outback. Make a stopover in Erldunda and enjoy a buffet breakfast. Continue to Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park to see the domes of the rock formations on your first walk. Learn more about the people in Pitjantjatjara at the Cultural Center.
Then take a guided walk to the base of Uluru to see the Anangu rock art. Head to the Mutitjulu Waterhole for a short hike to the home of the Wanampi Water Serpent and share some traditional "Dreamtime" stories.
Sip a glass of sparkling wine as you watch the sunset over Uluru and end the day with a BBQ dinner before heading back to Alice Springs.
