Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary Small Group Ethical Tour

Full description

Drive from Chiang Mai to the mountains of Northern Thailand and visit the ethical Lanna Kingdom Elephant Sanctuary (about 1 hour's drive from the city center).

When you arrive, find out about the elephant conservation program and get an introductory talk and the opportunity to get in touch with the rescued animals. Take them in their arms and learn how to prepare a healthy meal to feed them.

Take a walk with the elephants through the sanctuary and take a mud bath to lower body temperature and protect it from parasites. Feed them before enjoying a home-cooked lunch in a sanctuary restaurant.
